Having the thought of being ignored is frustrating , epilepsy just people turn away from the word Recognition doesn’t exist , you don’t hear enough about it for people to care. Sitting have the thought of no one cares. Honestly yeah winds me up.
You hear about other organizations raising money on adverts for charities and conditions which I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. The point I’m making is apart from the odd post on Instagram or any social media. My Question is “When was the last time you saw one about recognition for epilepsy?” I’ll answer that question for you……..”Never”
It’s shocking to be honest , having the feeling that you fighting a battle with your hands behind you back isn’t good enough. Yes it’s time for change. That’s my mission , to put epilepsy on the map and get more people to feel like they matter and not just feel like someone has taken a quick glance at you and turned away because they couldn’t care less.
