Who ever suffers from a disability , yes there are obstacles in your path yet they’re not impossible to overcome. I’ll just an example of the woman above playing sports in a wheel chair, before you keep reading I want you to just look at her face.
Even being in a wheel chair she’s smiling , honestly it makes me feel a “self-centered arse” to be honest, the reason why is because sometimes in the past I have complained about thinking “The world feels like it’s against me , my life sucks” now think to yourself.
There’s always someone who has it harder than you , I’m going to be blunt about it but think how hard some people unfortunately have it and then look at yourself and think to yourself how lucky you are. I mean yes when i was out and fell fracturing my cheekbone putting myself in hospital for the night I mean yea it was a bit annoying but, the day i came out i was out and about again.
There are somepeople with epilepsy having 200 to 300 seizures a day and can’t go out without someone needing to be there. Makes you feel lucky doesn’t it. I have absence seizures every so often but i still go out. Some people don’t have that locutory. Havng the freedom to do stuff.
So think to yourself when your feeling a bit down , there’s always someone worse off than you. Appreciate what you have , never take it for granted because they’re people who would wish to have things like you.
So yes from now on think to yourself how lucky you are and never take things for granted again
Thanks for reading and I hope this helps change your perspective even just a little bit
