Hello everyone, my name is Aaron Merry, and I am the founder of “My Epilepsy Journey”. Today, I want to talk to you not just as a business owner but as someone who has walked the path of living with epilepsy. My mission is to inspire and educate people about this condition and to show that, no matter what challenges you face, you can achieve your goals.
When I was diagnosed with epilepsy when i was just Ten Years Old, I felt lost, confused, and yes even scared. But over time, I realized that my story, my journey, could help others who are going through similar experiences. That’s why I started My Epilepsy Journey—not just as a business, but as a platform to share hope, strength, and knowledge. Through my work, I aim to break down the stigma surrounding epilepsy and to show that it’s possible to lead a fulfilling life, despite the challenges.
As an inspirational speaker, I bring a unique perspective to the table. I don’t just talk about epilepsy from a medical standpoint—I share my personal experiences, the ups and downs, and how I’ve learned to turn my challenges into opportunities. I talk about the importance of resilience, determination, and self-belief, which are crucial not only for those living with epilepsy but for anyone facing difficulties in life.
My target audience ranges from high school students to adults. Why? Because epilepsy doesn’t discriminate; it can affect anyone at any stage of life. I believe that young people, in particular, need to understand that even when life throws you a curveball, you have the power to rise above it. By sharing my story with students, I hope to inspire them to pursue their dreams, no matter what obstacles they might encounter.
For adults, whether they are living with epilepsy or know someone who is, my message is that it’s never too late to rewrite your story. Life with epilepsy may come with its challenges, but it also brings opportunities to grow, to learn, and to make a difference in the lives of others.
In business, what I bring to the table is a combination of passion, personal experience, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact. My approach is straightforward and honest because I believe that real change happens when we speak from the heart.
So, whether you’re a student trying to figure out your path in life, a parent worried about your child’s future, or someone simply wanting to learn more about epilepsy, my goal is to leave you with a sense of hope and empowerment. Life is a journey, and while the road may not always be easy, with the right mindset, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you today. I hope that through My Epilepsy Journey, I can continue to inspire and support many others on their own paths.
