Ok, so I’ve spoken a lot about wanting to make an impact on the world. Sometimes this means being the as people say the “Outcast” of the group. When it comes down to wanting to make a difference and becoming successful in my challenge to succeed. It happens quite a lot but sometimes being the …
remove the title
I believe this is probably one of the biggest problems, We are all given a title. I’ll use me as a example , yes i suffer from epilepsy you may say the words Disability or Special Needs. Yes they’re all factually correct. I don’t want to just been known for “Oh He Has Epilepsy” having …
Facts and opinions
When it comes down to a discussion about anything. You have your facts and you have your opinions, with what i have to say, as well as being personal perspective. They’re also opinions. The difference is that no matter what opinion i have, it’s actually impossible to tell me that “Nope your wrong” Everything i …
Only the journey is written
In life we all have our journey written but we have no idea where we are going to end up. We might spend 5 years getting to were we want to achieve or we might do it in 2 years. We don’t know unless you take that first step. Believing in our goals should be …
worth it’s weight in gold
I have said before the reason I am doing this isn’t for money, I’m doing this to make a difference in this world. There’s so much that needs to be listened to not only about epilepsy but disability in general , being treated unfairly. I am doing this purely to help others, I don’t care …
Stop With Excuses
Ok, so we all want a positive outcome in our lives and that’s just the truth. I believe everyone is built up of excuses. E.g. “I’ll do it in a minute” or “One Sec” the problem is and we all know it. That I’ll do it in a minute will never be one minute. The …
A New chapter begins
So, as the title says “A New Chapter Begins” what I mean by this is that on the 20th October I had my VNS surgery, fortunately I only spent three days in hospital. I wasn’t bothered how long I needed to spend in hospital. If the operation was a success that’s all that matters to me. I got a newer model of battery.
The brand Is called Sentiva and the model number is 1000 , I’m honestly surprised how small the battery actually was when they showed me. When the hospital showed me how fine the wires were, I couldn’t believe it. The scars afterwards yes still hurt now.
I got asked am I self contius about the scar on my neck when I got out of hospital since the plaster over it which is bees wax is always on show. Honestly I’m the sort of person who doesn’t care about if someone sees it. It’s part of the story, it’s something to show as a badge of honour not something to hide behind
That’s how I live my life, if I’m happy and moving forwards that’s all that matters. If someone asks me “What happened?” I can explain exactly what’s happened in confidence not feel uncomfortable about it. Looking and seeing it, just reminds me how lucky I am to even have the operation done. I’m now taking this as the fresh start and concentrate on moving forwards in my life
Yes I came out of hospital on Thursday and it’s now Tuesday. I’ve only had one absence since then. Usually I was lucky to go 24hrs without one. Yes I might have the odd one or two but as I knew from the start. This Stimulator was never going to be the golden ticket straight away but we now have a guide line and how close it actually was straight away. So only time will tell
Goal Plan And Success
Needing a Goalplan is what everyone needs, I mean how are you supposed to get from A to B if your stood at A but you’ve got no idea which way your facing. If you want to become successful you need a plan. Even if it’s a rough sketch. At least you’ve got one I …
all it takes is one perons vision
Even if there are people who don’t believe in you, as long as you believe in yourself and believe that you can be successful. All you need is a vision, if you’ve got your eye on success then you know what your aiming for. It’s just then down to you to find the right route …
stronger than you realise
When we go through life, Yea it’s difficult and never straight forwards. There’s a lot of people who get pushed around and people believe they can just walk over you. Well I’m here to tell you they’re wrong. Growing up i was verbally pushed around for couple years and attempted to do something but never …
